Props with a couple of minutes left:
Duncan for gutting it out, 19/6/5 not bad
Rasho for a great game 12 points and some good board work.
Manu with 10 assists on a selfless night. (Practicing his sick passes for the All Star game)
Rose 12 and 12
Beno 9 points
Brown after a poor start had seemingly a ton of rebounds for his size and 8 points.
Blowout! As predicted 5 and 2 on rodeo trip, through it all, Spurs persevere and get a good trip.

if we stayed healthy it would of been 7-0

^^ exactly.
a healthy Duncan and were talking about a 7 0 road trip.
No matter.
41-12 is a nice NICE record going into the ASB.
finishing the season 27 and 2 would be nice now.

I picked 25-5 over the last 30, to put SA at 66 wins, one over my preseason pick of 65.

I just want whatever it takes to get top seed then rest Duncan some - had predicted it would be 63, now it might take 65.
Anything less than 5 losses would be awesome rest of way.

ummmm...at that point, the Spurs were at 40-12. 25-5 would put them at 65 wins.
Which, as I put in my post, was my original number and I'm sticking to it.

I think he posted that before the game was over.

Jim, I'm shocked. You're actually right, for once. I did tally last night's win as both one of the last thirty, and the launching platform for same. I'm still picking 25-5.

Actually, with their revamped roster and some injury recoveries, N.O. is not going to wind up as the worst team. Shit, they only had two wins at Christmas, and they could wind up with 20+.

if New Orleans was healthy, theyd be a damn good team.
Magloire Davis are all stars.
if they come back next year healthy, a high lottery pick, look out.

"third best team in basketball"
3rd best record, but absolutely not the 3rd best team.

I don't give much use to Power rankings, but my power rankings are, and I don't pretend to an accuracy per-team, but groupings:
SA, PHX, DET
SEA, MIA,HOU,
DAL, SAC, MEM
I don't think anybody else is worth bothering with.
