Hate to see this happen to any player, especially a young one. Let's hope he's not the glassman that I think he is.

This is a shame, u can't help but think the whole injury bug thing may plague him his whole career.

I waited up to watch the replay of his foot injury - i mean, shit like that just happens. It really, really sucks it was on the debut game, but it really wasn't his fault - his whole foot kind of rolled over while bynum held him down.

That said, I was more excited about watching Oden play (and hopefully dominate Bynum like he should) than this first Spurs game. Pisses me off.

Okay thats a lie but still, I was amped up to see the big man in action finally.

I don't know why anyone else hasn't broguht this up, but for having a foot injury plaguing him the whole first half, he honestly didn't look bad at all and showed some heart limping up and down the court despite what had to be some pain.

Yes, and his rejection of Bynum's first shot was sweet.

His foot got caught against Derek Fisher's foot. It could have happened to anybody. It's just the fact that it happened to Oden that freaks everybody out. He will be fine.

I wonder how many minutes he'll play after the 2-4 weeks is over.
