View Full Version : Gerald Green needs to be our starting SG

Findog

This team ain't winning a title, it's barely a playoff team. The kid is insanely talented and everytime he gets burn he does something positive, way more than Suckhouse and Adrian Griffin 2.0. Might as well develop the youth. And on the off-chance that the Mavs can pull off a Gasol-like collusion trade, better to let him work through the growing pains in November so he can be ready to contribute in April.

He's more qualified to fill that gaping hole at SG than anybody else on the roster. You can also crossmatch and give him the SGs so Josh guards opposing two's. The idea of Gerald "guarding" Kobe or Manu makes me ill.

Did you like when the Wolves left him wide open at the top of the key and Stack literally had like 5 seconds to stand there and spot up before launching an airball?

At least he only got 12 minutes, so maybe Carlisle is starting to see what is obvious to everyone else.

Yep. Just not enough pieces to match up with LA, Houston or New Orleans, the cream of the crop in the West. But that could change. The economic situation is going to affect the League at some point. Attendance is gonna be down, sales or jerseys and other swag is gonna be down. There's going to be a lot more buyouts and salary dumps this year than usual. The Mavs need one more piece to match up with those three teams and Boston.

Stack got the chance to show his "little something" in the start tonight and proceeded to promptly shit the bed. 12 minutes and didn't do jack shit. Carlisle finally benched his ass at the start of the 3rd and Stack didn't look all too pleasant. Hopefully they can ship him off for a KFC Guitar Hero combo box. That fucker looks heavy.

I only saw a couple of minutes of the game, but I happened to catch that, and it was awful.

Stackhouse acts like he thinks he's an offensive force in the league. Well, he is, but the word "offensive" isn't pronounced the way he thinks it is.

Stack only got 12 minutes, so Carlisle might be catching on. I like the commitment to running more. The Kidd trade was a big mistake, but hes most effective in the open court instead of in half-court sets. At times though it bogs down into the same settling for jumpers. Can't blame that on Avery

What? He played?

Awesome, I like him a lot...playing with someone like Kidd will help both Green and Kidd.....he should be in the Mavs rotation, glad that didn't happen in the Houston game.

:D

Green is better than Antoine Wright, and he is a Free Agent after this year....if he has finally dedicated himself, he has Tmac like talent.

Remember, Carlisle might still have a hard-on for Stack because he was his first "star" in his first head coaching gig in Detroit. Maybe giving him the first chance at the spot. If he's smart, he'll keep Stack on the bench and let him get 15-20 reserve minutes.

I don't think it's their "only" hopes. It's kind of a project. Just like Boston took in Patcik O' bryant, LA should have did it with this kid. He could have become a decent player. And why do people call this guy a bust? Wasn't he like the #17 pick?

You're a fucking idiot, but that's nothing new. They signed the guy to a non-guaranted vet minimum contract. That means they aren't banking on him to do anything. There's no risk. There's only so many Kobes, Wades and Manus to go around. Stud, franchise-level wing players don't grow on trees.

I hope you're right, but I'll take Al Harrington. I'd rather have Miller.

If we somehow could keep Bass and lose Erick Vagina instead, maybe Brad Miller could be an option. Don't know why Sacramento would do it, but I remember seeing his name pop up somewhere.

Failing at life never tasted so delicious! Get me that and the Sunday paper JC Penney bra ads to masturbate to, and I'm set!

LMAO! Wow! I remember when I was 13. That's a story for another day, though.

Jeezus, a 6 inch sammich from Subway probably tops out at 13-15 grams of fat once they add the fixins'.

Finding my dad's copies of Hustler and Penthouse at the age of 12 was a glorious day!

Is there a KFC in Dallas? I guess that would explain why no one knows how much the meal is.

You want to hear something really disturbing? Once when we were teenagers, we went over to my friend Big Danny's house and he got out his dad's dvds. His dad apparently enjoyed preggo porn and Danny tried to make us watch "Ready to Drop." Dude, turn that shit off! Nobody wants to see that except you and your freak dad.

I've watched preggo porn. Just to watch it, though. Kind of like wanting to watch Bill Billichick's porn just to see if he really wore the hoody.

- Mark Cuban is a douche and was on Dancing with the Stars

- He'll type out Irk Nowinski instead of his real name

- remind us that Houston won a couple of titles when he was a wee toddler and we have an empty trophycase

- Make the observation that Jerry Stackhouse looks like the Geico Caveman

- Josh Howard is an anti-American pot smoker that always plays well in the first quarter but does nothing after halftime.

Did I forget anything?

A buddy of mine and his wife recently had a girl. Well, she did I guess, he just planted the seed...but he said that he found himself getting really into preggo porn during the 9 months. Weird.

You forgot - At least we don't have Dirk Chokewitski on our team.

And - Mark Cuban ran the Mavs to the ground

Or how about Bean Bryant falling on his face in the finals after drawing the easiest road there with a crippled Spurs squad in the way. Doubt that happens again.

May 3rd, 2007

A day that will live in NBA infamy.

First time a number one seed loses to an eighth seed...and losing badly.

The Mav's choke will forever live in history. :D
