I thought the opening skit was good... infinitely better than Palin's.

"McCain Fine Gold."

Thanks for posting that. I don't watch SNL, so I would've missed that one.

I also don't watch K.O.
Did Affleck do a good job with his impersonation of Olbermann?

He nailed it.

Wow - if that's the case, I can't imagine why anyone would watch that man!

Or why people watch demagogues on the other side of the aisle like Limbaugh or O'Reilly.

Obviously, like any good send-up there was exaggeration in Affleck's portrayal, but the mannerisms were spot on. Olbermann has a mean streak just like so many of today's talking heads.

Yeah, I can't stand any of them. I think the only show I'll watch from time to time is Glenn Beck, but that's extremely rare...and I don't think he really comes across as being on one side or the other - at least on the shows I've caught.

It's a comedy skit. They tend to use exaggeration as a comedic device.

Yes, I certainly assumed that...but I can read through that and still see that man would be obnoxious.

He is obnoxious but some of the time he actually has excellent stories.

Olberman's been a moron since his Sportscenter days. Didn't this guy used to work for FOX too?

OK that was kinda funny, and I guess he did a good job. What I don't understand is how is it supposed to get him more votes?

He needed to loosen up a bit, and I think he did so here...whether or not that gets him votes, I don't know.
But it was fun to watch anyway.
