LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - Shaun Livingston's rookie season has been nothing short of a nightmare.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, the talented 19-year-old guard of the Los Angeles Clippers is expected to be sidelined into mid-March with a right shoulder injury.

Livingston suffered the injury making a steal against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday and an MRI Wednesday revealed torn cartilage.

The Clippers selected Livingston out of high school with the fourth overall pick in the 2004 draft.

After a promising start to his season, Livingston dislocated his right kneecap and missed 39 games. He returned Sunday and had 10 points and a season-high nine assists.

In 13 games this season, Livingston is averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 assists and 2.1 rebounds. He had a season-high 13 points against the Houston Rockets on November 20.

The Clippers already are trying to compensate for injuries to guards Marko Jaric and Kerry Kittles, who also are expected to be sidelined into March.
