that there are 80 games left!??!??!

Seriously... Everybody on here freaking out already needs to chill....

We can begin to panic at around the 25-30 game mark...

It's the nature of basketball message boards. Fans make immediate judgments of teams based on very small samples.

The Lakers whomp on a bunch of mediocre teams and suddenly they're the best team in the whole league.

The Spurs lose their first two, so that must mean they won't make the playoffs.

The Suns beat the Spurs, so they must be legit. But they lose to the Hornets, so they must not be legit.

Etc.

I actually agree with you there Xylus. I prefer not to really post during the season. Its the playoffs when I get really active or if there is something that is see that might catch peoples interest.

There's been a lot of spirited and passionate discussion about a lot of topics since the start of the season. I don't recall any panic this early.

Get used to it friend, it will be like this all season whenever the Spurs drop a game.

Then it gets worse in the playoffs! :)
