The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term,

He's campaigning for 2012 already!! :lol

Thats what this guy does. Campaigns. Does anyone know how long he was in the state senate before he tried running for congress (the first time, when he lost)?

He has to bring expectations back to reality after promising his minions the world.

You have to wonder how McCain would bring people back down to reality with his "Washington Shake Up!" or his "I Know How to Find Osama" shit, huh? :lol

Got my answer:

Obama was reelected to the Illinois Senate in 1998, and again in 2002.[43] In 2000, he lost a Democratic primary run for the U.S. House of Representatives to four-term incumbent Bobby Rush by a margin of two to one.[44][45]

This guy has been running for a different campaign every two years for the last decade!!

No...and now he'll start running for re-election since its impossible for him to seek a higher office.

He never actually "does" anything.

We might see a new book out soon.

The question is, how long can President Obama keep blaming ex-President Bush for anything bad that happens?

One year? Two years?

"He never actually "does" anything."

Big fucking red-herring lie, repeated by right-wing shills.

google Obama's bills co-authored and/or sponsored in the state and national legislatures.

Then tell us what dubya accomplished before he stole the Presidency.

Longer than that, I'd imagine, since the Bush administration is still blaming Clinton for some problems after being in power for eight years.

How long are you going to keep blaming McCain for not knowing how to win?

The best part of the speech to me was when it was over. I expected greatness but near the end I was just waiting for it to finish.

"Barack Obama hasn’t passed any (bills)."
Joe Biden on Monday, December 31st, 2007 in a campaign event in Ames, Iowa

He was actually wrong. Fact check shows Obama got through a bill he was the lead sponsor on. A bill to promote relief to the Congo.

Obama was definitely somber last night and he didn't give the speech that we all expected of him but you must remember that his Grandmother, who was like his mother passed away the day before and I'm sure he was thinking about the fact that she couldn't see and enjoy this moment with him. I can relate to that and it had to hurt.
