We badly need his length on defense. I only hope he can approach Nazr type production.

Well, if he has good hands he will already be better than Nazr was.

What is written in French newspaper is that Mahinmi will likely start the season in Austin. He will play there for one or two weeks to get his rhythm back.
It means that Mahinmi will be back with Spurs in early to mid December.

It doesn't seem like the Spurs have that luxury right now-- the front line needs serious help, and I hope Mahinmi starts playing for the Spurs soon. Even modest numbers, like 15 mpg, 4 ppg, 3 rpg, + decent defense would be a godsend.
