Regarding Roger Mason, Jr., that "Jr." part means a lot to him. His dad, who was a doctor, died when he was a kid. I know he always introduces himself as Roger Mason, Jr. and takes pride in his name.
It's not quite to the level of the "Elliot" pet peeve of mine but I think it's right to give him that respect.

I like the idea that person has in his sig. "BlackBarry"
Remember, dude can shoot, handle the ball well, play a little point and score in bunches. Like someone else we recently had on our team. Also, dont forget Barry (at Mason Jr's age) was scoring 20+ a game average for the Sonics. All Roger needs to do is to win a dunk comp in SA and it would seal it.

I like me some Mason and I think he will become a huge part of our success this year. He has a sweet, smooth shot and makes things look so easy on the court.

well if we use your logic then he is better than Manu because he is scoring higher than Manu at his age.
Let's agree that he is somewhere in the middle between Barry + Manu

In any case, it doesn't matter what y'all vote. When Shaq gives him a nick-name, that's what it will be. And, much as it pains me to say it, whatever Shaq comes up with will be far better than anything we can come up with. Who here would've come up with "The Big Fundamental"?

whether you like it or not the Ocho brings thoughts of Chad Johnson and ESPN... so that's a definite no go imo.
Money is good as long as it is used properly... I don't like "Money" or "Money Mason" as they don't seem to have a ring to them. I do like "Roger Money Mason," or "Big Money Mason," because they just seem to roll off the tongue. I was ready to go with one of these, but after reading timvp's comments regarding the importance of jr... this needs to be rethought.

Okay, may be a mute point at this time, however the name "Mace Windu" has created some excitement over at PtR.
Points in favor being the inherent badassedness of Star Wars, combined with the overall kickassedness of Sam L Jackson. The "du" that the guy owns certainly looks like its been in the wind, the mace is pretty potent stuff, especially when its in your face.

Roger is primarily a common first name of English, French, and Catalan usage, ("Rogier", "Rutger" in Dutch) from the Germanic elements hrod (fame) and ger (spear) meaning "famous with the spear". The Latin form of the name is Rogerius, as used by a few medieval figures.
From c.1650 to c.1870 Roger was slang for the word "penis" probably due to the origin of the name involving fame with a spear. [2] [3] [4] Therefore "roger" became slang for "have sex with".
