Massenburg is only in there to rough people up and on some nights he can put up 10 points. The same goes for Rose and when he's on he can put up 20 points.
Horry is huge player for the Spurs.
Ranks second in NBA Finals history in career 3PT-FG made with 38 (Michael Jordan leads with 42)
David Robinson would have killed for these guys to be his back ups. David was able to handle it himself. Then you add Tim in with David and you have the perfect mix for any NBA team. Now you have Tim and Rasho. 2 Big men and few rough necks off the bench that can get fouled down low and get hot on some nights.
Can't get any better than that.

The truth is somewhere in the middle and remember playoffs are usually shorter rotations, with no back to backs Duncan should go 38 minutes a game.
The whole key is Rose, which will we see = if the last several games we are ok, if not then worries are legitimate. He brings something Horry does not, or Massenburg playing at his better level He has to stay out of Pops doghouse and keep his head up when not getting big minutes, for some matchups he is extremely good, others Horry is better.

I agree Rose is the key, if Rose can continue to play this way for the rest of the year will be fine, but when was the las time Rose has played consistently well?...2003?

You said it all right there my friend. I would rather see Malik ride the bench for the rest of the year, finish with 20+ losses, and have him play at the top of his game in the playoffs.

6'9", but he would be the starting PF in reality if not in name (Whether TD wants to acknowledge it or not he plays like a center, not a PF) and Rasho would come off the bench by mid-season.

Doubtful, Scola can't block shots.

Scola is a pretty good offensive 4 from what I can tell, but his defense and even his rebounding leave a lot to be desired.

So far the bigmen on the bench have been getting it done by
committee. We still have the best record in the league is that not
good enough.
