LMAO @ the report saying Eddy Curry of the Knicks as a possible player to get in return.

Larry Brown would love to coach Eddy Curry again. :rollin

So is it true that Larry Brown convinced Jordan to keep Wallace this offseason, and now 4 games into the year he wants to get rid of him?

No way this happens in the Spurs favor unless they want this trade:

Udoka/Bonner/Vaughn/2nd round draft pick-Knicks
Gerald Wallace-Spurs
Eddy Curry-Bobcats

I didn't read all rumors this summer, but I thought Larry Brown did want to trade Gerald Wallace over the summer.

There's going to be a lot of player movement this year, a lot of guys getting dumped because their troubled franchises want to cut payroll in this economy.

I don't know if this works under the cap, but lets send them a couple of Carolina bitches (Josh and Suckhouse) and matching salary for Wallace, Felton and Matt Carroll. If we have to take the Molestache off their hands too, that's worth it for that trio.

Would you rather pay that or $130 million to Rashard Lewis? That's not a bad contract by any means.

Gerald Wallace would work for both the Mavs & the Spurs.

I don't think the Lakers need Wallace cuz they already have too many small forwards with Ariza being the human highlight film at a much cheaper price than Wallace.

Obumb is gonna ask for about the same. I'd take this guy over him.

Wallace is two years younger than Josh and won't hang out at the arc launching bricks.

Charlotte wants a big man in return for Wallace. Bass/Suckhouse for Wallace works with their salaries. Goddamnit, the Mavs gotta do something.

Wallace would be perfect fit for SPurs. but he makes too much damn money to even consider it

And if there's another piece to add to get Felton in return, then it's golden. But you know they won't. They'll let some other team come in, swipe both players for next to nothing and then tell us they worked tirelessly to get something done but it never came to fruition. I can't think of a single thing Donnie has done recently to give me any faith that they'd even come close to making something like this happen. Yes, a move would obviously be nice. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

This move probably wouldn't put the Mavs over the top anyway. And if it happened, and if they still were mediocre, would you atleast give the front office props for trying or continue to whine like a little bitch?

If they did this trade I'd buy a pair of your backup Mav pom-poms and get into the "Go Mavs! You guys are awesome for trying real hard! Mark Cuban rules!" cheer squad inhabited by blind homers like you.

Raptors Talk Trade With Warriors And Bobcats

Nov 10, 2008 10:31 AM EST
The Raptors have talked with both the Golden State Warriors and the Charlotte Bobcats about trades for perimeter players, according to two league sources.

The Warriors are looking to move Al Harrington, and the Bobcats are looking to trade Gerald Wallace.

Andrea Bargnani is the player teams frequently inquire about, but Bryan Colangelo remains confident of his long term potential as the Raptors have a win-now philosophy.

The Mavs have quite a few talented players who need a fresh start at a new team.

For all their sucking, the Mavs don't have any outrageously bad contracts except for Kidd and Brickhouse, both of which are valuable expiring contracts this year.

Dampier is overpaid but all useable Centers are overpaid these days.

I suspect the Mavs have been working the phones.
