1. give Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili a year off without playing - in their age it will be good for their bodies and will make them keep longer and be better after the year off.

2. play George Hill and Ian Mahinmi 30 MPG - prepare them for the future, after they will play a lot of minutes this year they will be better and ready to contribute next year.

3. get a high draft pick and use it to draft a big man next to Duncan (perhaps Black Griffin).

4. in the off-season replace Bruce Bowen with a new SF - use the MLE or trade finished contracts to do that.

This year with our team we dont have a chance to compete for a championship so we need to think about the future and improve our team, makein this plen will give us a bright future and a good chanse to compete for a championship next year.

Man, It doesn't make sense to us.

for now, we have just played 5 games so we don't need to give up this season, plus, we just need to get into the playoffs as the 8th seed, if we get into the playoffs and playing with healthy big 3, we still have a chance to win the championship this year.

its too early to talk about tanking, so for now lets talk about our chances. with everyone healthy, is our team good enough to win it all?

Meaning no disrepect, but your not paying attention to the rest of the league. If we continue on this pace they might move SA out of here. Now Im not saying give it up. But I am saying dont be stupid like Manu playing while he was hurt. Now yall see what I mean when I was so pissed at Manu. Thats how it starts, first one guy then a little bad luck grabbing players then another one gets hurt. Besides a few freaks like Bruce, who makes a whole season without some kind of injury? I wanna see TP and TD for a few more seasons, but I wanna see them winning not getting blown out by sorry teams. Getting blown out by good teams was bad enough. The most successful way of grabbing superstars is via the lottery. Heck just ask the spurs how successful they have been.
