I'd like to finish all the prestige levels on Cod4 though (i'm on level 8), but I don't want to fall too far behind....

How many days after the release date of a game you preordered does Gamestop hold it for you?

depends.... if they run out of copies they might try to sell your preorder that day (they almost did that to a friend of mine with his guitar hero). If you call them and let them know you need a few days I think it'll be ok
