For opening night against Houston, dinner was 8 crispy chicken tacos from Taco Bueno. I ate a whole $5 pizza from Little Caesar's for the Cleveland-Dallas partial birth abortion. Yesterday for the anal fissures against the Clip Show, I ate two whole boxes of Aunt Jemima's french toast, then washed it down with 4 ice cream drumsticks.

What should I eat for dinner while watching Kobe and company curbstomp the Mavs by 27? It should denote both sadness and a lack of nutritional content.

you should try the Popeye's Big Easy Chicken Bowl, and post a review/contrast with the KFC one:

I was a svelte 6'1, 175 lbs for the 06 Finals run.

If the Mavs keep this bullshit up, I'm going to have to stop watching the games or balloon up to 250.

I think it'll be Hungry Man XXL "Backdoor Barbecue" for Tuesday night's loss, then for the dick punch against the Bulls on Thursday I'll have a family sized turkey pot pie.

I'll be at the Orlando game on Friday so I can celebrate that Mavs defeat with an $8 burger and a $9 cup of cheap wine.

Those motherfuckers aren't getting any more of my money. I went to like 13-15 games last year to watch Avery grind them down. I only want to pay to see an elite team or a rebuilding squad with lowered ticket prices. I don't want to pay good money to see a team on the 35-43 win treadmill.

Gagree.

And even if the Mavs pull a miracle out their ass and beat the Lakers, they'll only ruin things by losing back to back against Chicago and Orlando.

Plus, Oklahoma City ain't too far from DFW. I might make a couple road trips to see Kevin Durant emerge into superstar status with his D-League team, hopefully so that when contract time comes around I can just hitch a ride back to Dallas with KD in tow.

I don't think the Mavs will beat the Lakers

But I do think the Mavs will stomp the Bulls then edge out Orlando.

So skip the Lakers game and go get 20 wings at Hooters for Bulls and Orlando.

Should be a good game.

I'm almost hoping it's not. I'm not sure yet which is more agonizing - for the Mavs to get curbstomped from the opening tip onward, or for them to play the Lakers tough for 3.5 quarters and then let the game slip away at the end.

Mavs fans you must understand this wont be an easy loss. The Lakers strategy is to make you think you have hope, that you have a secure lead. By halftime you'll be up by 20 and in high spirits. Then itll come crashing down, Lakers ahead by the end of the quarter, and up by 20-30 at the end. No, this wont be an easy loss.

Lakers (5-0) and playing in Dallas are due for a loss.

Dallas (2-4) with no home wins so far, is due for a win.

Combine that with Dirk's panache for going off on the Lakers and you get less than a blowout win.

Of course, the handi-cappers haven't seen these new Lakers play these new Mavs so they could be WAAYYY off.

You'd be surprised what the handicappers in Vegas know. Those guys are amazing at setting tempting lines to reel in bets. They have to know something to make this line as small as it is. 10 would be too much, 7 might be ideal but 5.5 is just enough to bring in a lot of money on the LA side.

Maybe Carlisle will be smart and start giving Shawne Williams some playing time. Green & Williams are the future of the Mavs, so get them in there and see if they can be the complementary pieces Dirk has always wanted.

I have to agree, these fools are GOOD. It's just crazy how good they are.

But I just can't see anyway this is a 5.5 point game. Maybe Kobe isn't playing or something.

I'd bet a boatload on the Lakers with 5.5 point spread.

And that's the risk they're taking. If, for some reason, the Mavs win or keep it close, then think of all the money they'd have brought in on that -5.5 line. But Vegas doesn't like to lose, so there has to be something off which they're basing this.
