The Pacific Division is going to be the weakest in the West this year. After the Suns and Lakers (two of the strongest teams in the West), I don't see any team making a push for the 8th seed.

Clippers are 1-6, off to a horrible start.
Warriors won't be as good as they have in past years.
Kings just don't have enough talent to do anything noteworthy.

Actually there's 5 teams in the NW as long as you consider...

A) Oklahoma City is a team, and ...

B) Oklahoma City is in the NW?

Like I said, there's four teams in the Northwest Division. What does the municipality of Oklahoma City have to do with anything?

The Blazers count as two teams now that Oden is there.

Top 3 teams with 10 wins. :lobt2:

It will be awesome if the race was this close all season, but something will give.

Suns one of the strongest teams in the West? lol

They've shit the bed at home v the Rockets, Lakers, and Hornets and almost lost to the Thunder.

Shaq cannot keep up this kind of productivity over the course of an 82 game season.

Nuggets-Fan,

Simple math.

SW

37 WINS - 35 LOSES

NW:

34 WINS - 37 LOSES

Same was said about Grant Hill last year. Will have to wait and see.

Not gonna happen. We've got about 2-3 more weeks of shitty basketball before we make a run. All we need to do is stay within 3 games and we'll be fine.

Still has the team with the worst record in the league and another with the 5th worst record in the league. The other three teams are pretty good.

SW division has four teams with winning records.

I hate the Jazz, but they have managed to stay afloat with plenty of injuries. Once they get healthy I'm sure they'll go back to being a force. The Jazz is one of those teams that almost never gets talked about yet are always in the playoff mix.

No disrespect to ballijuana and Jazz fans,

but what has Utah done? WHAT HAS UTAH DONE? Why are they ALWAYS included in the top tier of west teams? I do not understand this. Every single commentator includes them in the top group. They are good. But other than reaching the WCF in 07' because the Mavs screwed up, what have they done?

p.s. I like Harpring. I don't think Frye did that with ill will but Harpring is a tough mofo.

I don't know? What's anybody in the West done in the past decade besides SA and the Shaq Lakers. We're in the top tier because when we're healthy, we're one of the better teams. Should we be considered nothing because we haven't won a ring recently? You could say the same about NO, HOU, DAL, PHO, DEN, POR or The Kobe Lakers. WTF have those teams done that's significantly more accomplished than Utah?

And I like Frye and I don't think it was very malicious either. Just, what was he thinking? You shouldn't do that to people who could knock you out in 2 seconds flat if they wanted.
