Pretty severe ankle injury is the problem. Expected back in a couple weeks or less.

Wouldn't count on him being any kind of contributor for awhile. May even spend some time with the Austin Toros, working on conditioning.

He shat away his chance to be one of the many young guns getting mad playing time this season by being a fragile china doll.

Manu + Tony + Mahinmi + some new guys in exchange from Bonner, Vaughn, Finley ALL COMING BACK IN MID DECEMBER = good news

Oh, damn... we had used a #1 pick on him than yeah-we'd be suicidal.

The #28th pick? We'll wait.

Like it or not, his play is going to be instrumental this season - either good or bad.

ian should have, could have been in the utmost thick of things right now, and may have led the spurs to a win or two more aleady, hindsight of course being 20/20 (we'd have never known what its like without him if he had not been injured).

I am more excited about him, at least before the season started, than any other spur newcomer, and still am.

it is getting pretty old continually hearing "a couple more weeks" every couple of weeks.
Along with Tolliver, Ian's addition to the frontcourt will complete the youth infusion.
gonna be tough for him though, b/c every game he misses the other newbies are proving their worth and Pop may be tired of being patient with the youngnz

He talked about going through training camp with the Toros to get in shape. If he's healthy in time, that sounds like a very good way to use the Austin affiliation.

Toros camp begins Sunday and ends the day before Thanksgiving. I was told there will be one scrimmage and one preseason game at local high schools, which will be a first for them. I'll pass on the details when I get them.

Actually the Louvre is a museum in a very sturdy, 17th century ex-fortress. It has a glass pyramid in its courtyard, but that's about it.

I propose Ian "Lalique" Mahinmi :D
