They lost but it still was a hell of a night for Rose. He posted 26 points 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Including his second straight 20 point game......

I must admit that I didn't believe he'd put up huge stats because of the glut at the guard positions. But, with Larry Hughes missing games and now Hinrich out for months, he's going to get that 35+ mpg on a consistent basis and a lot of touches and responsibility. In its own way, the injuries to Hughes and Hinrich is actually really good for Rose's development to progress much more quickly.

I'm pretty shocked at how fully formed he appears to be. I was kinda down on the pick before the season, but I'm already satisfied. He plays smart and takes good shots for the most part as well.

MUCH props to Rose. I didn't think he was going to be on that Cp3, Dwill level, but man, he is proving me wrong. Not even Paul was doing this as a rookie.

As an NBA fan, it's hard not to be really excited about all the talented kids coming into the league. This draft looks to have a bunch of guys that can play.

yeah i was bummed at first too for the bulls but he's a flatout beast. Hopefully they can rebuild around him.

I watched him in high school and noticed that when he went to college, his level of dominance stayed the same, and now its translated over to the pros. Bulls are back in business with this kid.

interesting observation. this guy is just a winner then.
