George Strait has now won more CMA Awards than any other artist in the history of the Country Music Association. Going into Wednesday night’s (Nov. 12) awards show in Nashville, Brooks & Dunn topped the list with 19 awards, including 14 wins as vocal duo of the year. Strait and Vince Gill were tied with 18 victories.
