Yup. I got in today too. Just finished installing it actually and I'm now waiting for GOW 2 to install to the hard drive. I have a feeling that they just invited the remaining people who hadn't been selected yet, but still, pretty cool.

Nope. You'll still have your avatar jumping around next to your name on your friend's, friend's lists, but your gamerpic (if you so choose) is still featured on your profile's tab thing. Plus, wherever you are on the dashboard, your gamerpic is always in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

I'm not getting something. What's the point of installing a game on the HDD?

Load times will be much quicker, and i believe once you launch the game you can take the disc out so it doesnt get scratched unnecessarily from all of the spinning in the drive. Im guessing a hack will come out to allow you to play without the disc in the drive if you mod your 360
