Your recent posts almost make it seem like you are excited by the idea of something violent happening to Obama or the US. I hope that's not the case.

Too bad Bush invaded Iraq to divert the US armed forces from fighting Al Qaeda.

General Michael Hayden, director of the CIA, this week acknowledged that there were dangers during a presidential transition when new officials were coming in and getting accustomed to the challenges. But he added that no “real or artificial spike” in intercepted transmissions from terror suspects had been detected.

[...]

Intelligence chiefs on both sides of the Atlantic have indicated that such warnings refer more to a general sense of foreboding than fear of an imminent or specific plan.

[...]

In Britain, security officials say that there is genuine concern that alQaeda will attempt a “spectacular” in the transition period, but suggest that it may be aimed more at Mr Bush than Mr Obama.

“As far as we know there is nothing from the intelligence world to indicate that anything has changed dramatically in recent months to put us on alert for an attack at the moment,” a source said.

[...]

Mr Lewis said that many Muslims were intrigued by Mr Obama’s arrival in the White House and “there may be political downsides” in attacking America too early.

I guess it's newsworthy that AQ would love to pick off any US President they could?

Shocking development.

Any predictions of how he will handle such a probable crisis?

Will he conduct daily polls to see what he should do, or will he lead?

OBL suckered dubya into Afghanistan, and then dubya gratuitously piled Iraq onto the US military's plate.

There's really no need for AQ to strike USA again. OBL said he would get only one strike because USA's defenses would make more strikes extremely difficult.

OBL has the US suckered onto foreign killing fields, with no victory or no end in sight. Mission Accomplished.

Of course, the damage to USA by OBL is nothing compared to the damage committed by Wall Street.
