:tu It's easy to be a fan when the Spurs have three All-Stars destroying other teams and winning championships. This group of have-beens, never-weres and Tim Duncan has been fun to watch in recent games.

Always are proud of em when they give 100%.
The game tonight all it does is makes a stronger team for down the stretch.
Guys like Mason, Bonner, Hill and others can be relied on to make plays in tight games from now on.
Very very impressed by the efforts from Bonner and Finley tonight.

Baptism by fire. I like it.
To see our supporting cast coming together and pulling out a two tough wins is very much special ... and being a big Tim Duncan fan, its nice seeing him the number 1 option at all times again :lol

I'm proud of the SPurs, fer sure. Winning even without Tony & Manu is surprising, to say the least. And what can you say about Sir Tim Duncan other than that he's THE MAN?

I was proud back when Walter Berry was our franchise guy (no disrespect... dude was a good player and a hell of a nice guy to his fans too, but the team wasn't that good).

We should be 7-2 right now.
The 103-98 loss to Phoenix, 100-99 loss to Portland, and 82-78 loss to Milwaukee were all BS losses decided in the last minute or so and those teams just a lucky bounce.
I really wish we had not drafted Tim Duncan. Bitch can't hit a free throw to save his life. At least he's not as bad at them as Shaq. . .

It didn't look good back then, but the defense is coming together and the role players are developing some chemistry (at least that's how it looks to someone who hasn't seen a whole game of theirs on TV yet). I just hope we don't limp into the playoffs and get blown out.

If we do, life will go on.
But it ain't happenin'. Spurs are getting five this year :smokin

Last few games have been impressive and this one on the road. I was watching the Spurs vs Rockets game the other day with my brother (Rockets fan) and had a blast. I thought we were going to lose that game for sure.

I've always been supportive of this team.
I'm just tired of spoiled Spurs fan going over the top with their criticism. For example, like wanting to trade one or all of the real Big 3 or other silly posts.
This is the golden age of the franchise and we better appreciate it...because it will be gone someday soon and those same spoiled Spurs fans will be reminsicing back to this 10 year plus stretch of excellence.

It's important to win these close ones, now more than ever. It's only 2 wins, don't get carried away. That said, it's nice to see Duncan getting the ball in crunch time. In recent years it seems like Manu is the one to get the ball almost every time down the stretch, and I don't agree with it. Play off of Tim. Tim is the man, he always will be on this team, until he retires. Anyway, I'm just glad he's able to show everyone he can still take games over when it counts.

You are not seeing the close wins the spurs pulled out that could have just as easily been close losses. So a 4-5 record is more than right for this team.

I'm pleased with their play minus Manu and TP. I hope they can keep it up. They're playing hardnosed defensive hoops...Spurs basketball.

Perspective is everything. As a fan you really want to believe that the team can win every game and as fans we evaluate individual games instead of chunks. Give it some time, evaluate every 10-15 games as a whole and then see what is happening.
They are playing so hard and the defense has really stepped up. That is a great sign of the heart and mental maturity of this Spurs team. I am very excited to think long term when Ginobili and Parker and Ian are all back. That would give this Spurs team a great mental/skill make up.

I think we are starting to get the rest of the NBA's attention.
Literally playing Duncan with scrubs...according to Jeff Van gundy, the worst team right now (or to that effect).
I love it. I am counting the days till our stars come back. I can't wait to see if we gell and blow out teams.
LA watch out this winter!!!!
