Wade got every touch foul and then a few phantom fouls as well. Meanwhile, Posey and Haslem got to mug Dirk. I think the disparity is not anything nefarious but the fact that Wade is 6'6 and Dirk is 7'0. Dirk is expected to absorb more punishment. But even taking that into account, there was a weird disparity in the foul calls and the way the games were officiated.

Dallas did plenty to contribute to losing that series (non-defensible no show in Game 4, among others), and the Heat playing at their best were capable of beating the Mavs and anybody else.

But the games in the Finals were officiated in such a way that it was unsatisfactory no matter who you were rooting for. Shitty officiating is shitty officiating. The Mavs have sometimes benefited from it, in this instance, it bit them in the ass.
