It's in a bunch of media outlets, it's stemming from Peter Vecsey reporting it in the NY Post.

Glad the Spurs didn't get in on that. Harrington isn't Spurs material. First of all, he's a malcontent and if you are a chucker who can't get along with Nellie, good luck with Pop.

But more importantly, he's not a good defender. He's a poor rebounder for his size and he doesn't block shots. His per minute stats are similar to Matt Bonner if Bonner scored more and rebounded less.

He would have helped with Parker and Ginobili out but once those two players return, I wouldn't want Harrington taking shots away from them. The Spurs need a rebounder and shot blocker next to Duncan, not an offensive specialist who rebounds and blocks less than Bonner.

Oh and Harrington was horrible in the playoffs in 2007 against the Mavs. By the end of that series, Nellie couldn't even play him because he was choking too much.

Al is not the big we need. Might as well keep on trucking with the bigs we have and wait until Ian gets back. If Ian turns out the be another wasted year. Then look into the draft. I just dont see him giving Timmy the kind of help he really needs. I see Al as just another big who shoots from beyond the arc. We either have bigs who love living from beyond the arc. Or we have bigs who love living on the bench. What we need is a big who loves playing under the rim. Oh.....and in this league.

Malik Rose will be trade to the Golden State Warriors today for Al Harrington. So much for coming back to SA.

We wouldn't trade for him anyway. He can come back next summer for the min if Pop wants him.

He will fit perfect with no defense D'Antoni

"Al Harrington is rumored to have been traded to the Knicks on Friday, although details are still unclear.
Three possible scenarios exist, with the Knicks sending either Jamal Crawford or Malik Rose to the Warriors in the first two. The third and newest option, reported by Newsday, has the Clippers and Warriors sending Harrington, Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley to the Knicks, with Crawford, Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins being moved between the Clips and Warriors. This would clear cap space for the Knicks and give Harrington a starting job with Randolph out of the way. Stay tuned as details emerge throughout the day. Nov. 21 - 6:33 am et"

I'm pretty sure GS covets Crawford more in this trade than Rose.
