It is being reported a 3-team trade with the Knicks/Clippers/Warriors. Knicks trade Crawford, Z-Bo, Mardy Collins for Al Harrington, Cutino Mobley and Tim Thomas. All 3 of those contracts expire next year.

Can you say 2010 Lebron to the Knicks

Nellie must be jizzing in his pants at the smallball prospects of this trade. Stephen Jackson will play Center and that team will be the most incredibly awesomely wildass team ever.

Knicks will be bad this year after the trade

Crawford is one of the few people on the Knicks who can ball. Bad trade by NY.

imagine if Nellie ran out a lineup of Crawford/Morrow/Maggette/Azibuike/Jackson.......do you realize just how wildass street ball that lineup is? I want the trade to happen for that alone.

Mavericks need to give up something for David Lee.

If LeBron re-ups with the Cavs, I'm going to shit myself from laughing at the Knicks. All this work for nothing, or a shitty "Dwyane Wade even more banged up and only good for 40 games a year" consolation prize.

Even if they don't get LeBron, there are plenty of consolation prizes in 2010. They must figure that long-term financial flexibility is paramount, and that in the meantime, D'Antoni's style will yield entertaining basketball, no matter what garbage they throw out there. He's already doing better with the same roster Isiah had.

None of the consolation prizes make nearly the impact of LeBron. The Knicks will probably be extremely disappointed if they have to settle for a consolation prize.

Dwyane Wade might be close to retirement with the beating his body takes due to his style of play. Bosh isn't a guy who can lead a team to a title. Everybody in the 2010 class is a B or B+ or A-......only LeBron is a bonafide A+ player.

The Knicks are making a play for LeBron, and LeBron only. I'm betting that if they do settle for Wade or Bosh, a lot of people will be getting their asses fired in NY.

Surely with their glut of swingmen, we can get one of them? Would Nellie deal with his son, since he and Cuban hate each other's fucking guts?

Lebron and D'Antoni would be the perfect fit.

So its Lebron or bust but anything is better than that garbage they run out there each night

If GSW does this trade you can expect them to trade one of their wing players for a PG or some front court help for Biedrens.

SG: Morrow

Hell no, I want Nellie to go full wildass. I wouldn't even bother playing Biedrins.

I'd love to see the Warriors score 125 a night and have 90% of their shots be 3 pointers.

There's gotta be a way to get Antoine Walker on the Warriors.

Warriors should sign George McCloud

After this, the Warriors need to package Azibuike/Biedrins/whatever else will make it work, to the Wizards for Gilbert.

So what about the Clippers. Their front court is now Kaman, Camby and Z-BO

That's pretty nice, but Baron Davis is somewhere crying. Even more slow halfcourt offense. Unless they're planning a Kaman trade.

ESPN is reporting that it's a straight up deal Harrington for Crawford.

I wouldn't be surprised if D'Antoni pushes to also get Belinelli in the deal.

In D'Antoni's system, Harrington can play the center position next to Zach Randolph. But, Q-Rich as the starting 2-guard? Ouch. That would move Wilson Chandler into the starting small forward role, I guess.

this trade is fine by me, i have harrington on my fantasy team and with deron and ginobili my team sure is suffering.

Trade sucks for David Lee...Chandler Zach and Harrington will be taking most of the front court minutes

The Peter Vecsey article says nothing of Crawford, and that article is posted on The league website. There are too many stories going on right now with different segments and story fillers, but it looks like one thing is true, there will be a trade.

The Knicks acquired Warriors forward Al Harrington Friday for Jamal Crawford in a deal that creates salary cap space for the summer of 2010. The Knicks are also working on a trade that would land Zach Randolph in Dallas.

What a dumb move for the Knicks.

D'Antoni can't be happy with that.

BTW, Lebron looks weird on Q's body

Great move by the Knicks. They aren't winning a ring with Crawford. Best to go for broke.

I bet D'Antoni is completely on board with it. Let's face it, Crawford and Randolph are two losers. They have talent, but they're perennial losers. They will always be losers. Their value actually is high for them right now because of the respectable start by the Knicks. You sell high, buy low. This is the right time to try to get some value for both of those guys.

True, but at least Crawford was a good fit for D'Antoni's Run and Gun style

Nothing beats good chemistry though

And as you said, they want to free some $ for Lebron
