This is true. But it still remains that in an encounter with a werewolf only one thing can happen: he's gonna rip you to shreds and eat you. But with a vampire there are 2 possibilities: he's gonna suck your blood and then kill you, OR he's gonna suck your blood and then you are going to have really hot sex! ;)

By now, you've probably seen enough trailers to have guessed that Robert Pattinson isn't the greatest actor in the world. And that's true, but once you see the film, you'll understand just how incredibly bad he is - Like a black hole of talent, optimism and... well, everything aside from good looks, his every appearance on screen as the movie's hero Edward manages to suck in everything that you might have enjoyed about the movie. It's not just that his performance is flat, emotionless and entirely unconvincing (Although it is); his pale make-up, the special effects when he uses his abilities and pretty much everything else about him just kills whatever momentum and credibility the movie had each and every time he appears. It's fitting, in a way, because if there's one thing that the movie manages to convince you by the end of it, it's that this movie really isn't about vampires.

Harry Potter is for everyone, to begin with.... and the depth of the story is unmatched by any modern youth/young adult series.

The only people that would believe that Twilight is the new Harry Potter is someone that just watches movies or gets their entertainment news from MTV.

Ugh. Agreed. I was dragged there by a friend of mine while I wanted to see Role Models (in a PAINFUL twist of irony, after purchasing the Twilight tix, we pass by a RM poster and she shouts "OH MY GOD! I wanna see that! It looks SO funny!" Sigh)

But yeah, the first glimpse we get of this Edward cat, about 100 tween girls SCREAM like they're at a fucking N'Sync concert, and I die a bit inside.
