hadnt seen this posted:

link (http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fc/news/lateNews/p/newsid/28935/arti.html)

seems nobody reads tony's official page, as its just a write up of this statement from the site (http://www.tp9.net/en/itw.php?id=243)

its from the 19th, and sounds more authentic than the last one :lol

interesting...i'm of the opinion to get him back as soon as possible.

this team has a bunch of players that need to get accustomed to playing with each other. then we need to come up with a rotation, etc. etc.

still a lot of work to be done...nothing is guaranteed once manu and tony come back

"Soon Manu will be back following his ankle surgery in late August," Parker said. "In two weeks max the Spurs should have regained their true face."Bring it!:ihit

Keep Tony out 'til mid-Dec, earliest.

That left ankle is hugely worrisome. The way he rolled just running straight without stepping on anything was pretty weird. It may be chronically weak and unstable. Let it heal for as long as it takes.

Same with Manu. (does anybody know exactly what his surgical procedure was?)

Spurs are only 2 games out of 2nd place in WC.

I hate the way players always want to be back playing before they're fully healed. Teams have to be smarter than the players and just say "no".

It's 4.5

It's 4.5

They're also only 2 games out first in the SW division, which is a better place to start.

Spurs are 4.5 games out of WC 1st place,

and, I repeat, 2 games out WC 2nd place.

The way the West has been playing so far, it doesn't seem like a stretch to believe the Spurs can be at least the #2 team come playoff time (seeding wise, of course :))

You can forget about that top spot buddy.

You can keep it. It sure helped you last year.

Spurs are 4.5 GB, 2nd is 2.5 GB, so Spurs are 2.0 GB from 2nd
