While attending APEC in Lima, Bush partakes of a traditional Peruvian drink known as a "Pisco Sour" (leave your puns in comments). The ingredients?

2 oz pisco brandy
1 oz lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup
1/2 egg white
1 dash Angostura® bitters

I don't begrudge the President a little blast. I feel like having one right now.

Nothing wrong with tat! but Dubya is a recovering alcoholic who says he quit drinking...If the last two months weren't enough to knock him off the wagon, I'd have to doubt his humanity.

Like Jeb said after one of GWB's campaign gaffes in 2000, "My brother's imperfect."

BFD if GWB has a drink. It doesn't make him a hypocrite. Besides, GWB isn't, never has been in recovery. He's a dry drunk. There's a big difference.

He was an alcoholic. Now he's probably not one. What's the big deal?

There's enough legit stuff to beat up Bush on that crap like this is just petty.

The worst president ever but not an unlikeable guy. I don't begrudge him a drink.

Would you give a known murderer a loaded gun? I hope that this was supposed to be in blue....

What's the big deal about having a drink? LMAO @ comparing alcoholism to murder. Despite the popular AA dogma, you're not an alcoholic forever just because you were at one time in your life. The guy has pretty clearly kicked alcoholism. If he had 6 drinks and started acting like an ass you'd have more of a point.

How do you know he hasn't been drinking this whole time? Sure would explain the slurred speech and the pretzel incident....

Sounds like a girly drink. He might as well have ordered an Appletini.

Maybe he just checked his 401(k) balance, I know I've wanted a drink or two lately.

He's done too good of a job scaring the American people into submission for it to have been the act of a drunk.

Sounds like a girly drink. He might as well have ordered an Appletini.Pisco is grape brandy -- aguardiente. It may taste smooth, but it kicks like a mule.

Peru believes Chile stole pisco (http://www.lonelyplanet.com/travelstories/article/piscosour_1007) from them during the War of the Pacific, and feelings still run high over the name pisco, and over how to make a pisco sour, the national drink in both countries.
