Just saw the replay of game 4 of the 2002 NBA WCF. This guy needs to be in the HOF, if only for his clutch shots and rings.

Shouldn't you be changing your team affiliation?

Considering I have yet to see you actually post about the Clips. :lol

Cheap Shot Rob

I actually hear rumors that Boston is trying to get him to come back after the All Star break.

Will not happen.

Robert Horry and Danny Ainge get along about as well as ducks and SequSpur.

Oh, and hard foul != cheap shot

Dont agree. The HOF is suppose to be for the "Best of the Best".

Barkley, Dominique, Ewing etc.

I dont think Robert Horry was ever even an all-star. Hitting a few big shots is no way the same as having the oustanding CAREERS those other players had.

Im not sure it was a "cheap shot", but it was definitely over the top and a frustration foul.

The harsh reality I've come to accept is what Rob did was wrong, but nothing prevented Amare and Diaw from staying on the bench for the good of the team. It's not like Horry had nash on the court pounding his head in. Frankly, I'm more worried about Bowen's tricky feet.

Hey, I am not saying what was right or wrong about the suspensions in that scuffle, but Nash was the one who acted violently when he got back up. He had to be restrained as I recall.

I remember him running up to Horry and getting in his face, but no punches were exchanged.

Last night, after the Kings game. I mentioned in the game thread it would be broadcast. I fell asleep and missed most of it.

Playoff performances aside, he has a career scoring avg of 7 ppg, he is not making the Hall..

Horry to the Hall of Fame was never more hotly debated than post, game 5 of the 2005 finals where he was just brilliant. But he just doesn't have the numbers to justify getting in. I doubt he'll even be a strong candidate over the years..

Has anyone ever considered him with a coaching future? He could earn his way in that way.

Robert Horry is the Forrest Gump of the NBA.......a bumbling idiot who finds himself wrapped up in some of the biggest moments in NBA history.

Yeah, there are many reasons to be a HOFer. Horry has earned his.

Actually, no. There are no comparable players in the HOF, so Horry won't get in. What he is is possibly the greatest post-season role player in history, but in the end, he's just that: a role player. He's also virtually invisible through 82 games every year.
