I was recently in New Orleans for a convention and was oblivious to the Spurs schedule and it turned out they were in town. My coworkers and I were walking to get some dinner and we passed a tall guy that looked like Will Smith and I remarked to one of my coworkers "That guy sure looks like Robert Horry, are the Spurs in town?" Sure enough they were. Big Shot Rob was in the River Walk area by himself and not on Bourbon street (although he was walking that direction). :lol

I think the Spurs just rest him. If he is healthy he is going to play.

Yeah, because I bet that sore right knee of his is just aching to play every night.

It's not just a sore knee, he has a non-displaced fracture in his right fibula. He needs the rest so he can be fresh and healthy for money time (a.k.a. playoffs).

why is horry not on IR if this is the case. other guys truly injured as well?

He's still able to play and with the shortage of big men, he can play spot minutes as needed. Apparently an injured Horry is still better than a healthy Sean Marks (unless you count his stubbed toe, lol).

A fracture to a non weight-bearing bone pretty much means its a bruise and no big deal.

Although . . . I imagine it could turn into something bad if he gets hit there again.
Exactly, it's all just prevention by Pop. The only way he's gonna be healthy come playoff time is if he gets better now and those games are a lot more important than these.
Sorry bout the sarcasm. It's just what I do. :smokin
