You should hit up Antro N.Y. I'm sure they already have your name on the VIP list.

gatman56876165 should go to Grand Central Station, the inspiration of the name of his favorite SA nightclub.

Alphabet City.

It's around the southeastern part of Manhattan.

You'll love it.

It is Tom's. It's on the corner of 112th (or so) street and Broadway. It you want to check it out great, but don't go there for the food.

St. Michael's Chapel which served as food/rest station for people working on the WTC disaster. I was very touched by the huge collection of expressions of solidarity from around the world.

The Met

MOMA

take the ferry to Ellis Island to appreciate how immigration stoked American society, and huge variety of immigrants, as well as to see Lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty from the water.

walk across the Brooklyn Bridge (may be too cold)

New York Public Library

go up the Rockefeller Tower, cheaper and shorter lines that Empire State, but same effect (needs clear weather)

Walk around Central Park.

Be in good walking shape.

After Thanksgiving they might have the Christmas decorations up, so you have to go to Rockefeller center.

Other things to see:
Ground Zero
Statue of Liberty (is it open yet?)
Times Square
Radio City Music Hall
98 St. Mark's Place - (If you're a Led Zeppelin fan)

They didn't really eat there. The show was filmed on a set in Los Angeles.
