Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Whether you celebrate the United States holiday today or not, this can be a time when you take time to reflect on the good things in your life. I know we're all thankful for our friends and family and other priceless gifts, and I pray that you are all blessed and happy today and all days. :toast

However, as a Spurs fan, what are you thankful for? Here are a few of mine:

-Tim Duncan.
-Healing time for Tony and Manu.
-George Hill, another late first round steal.
-The fact that the Spurs are not only easy to cheer for as players, but also as great human beings.
-An amazing forum like SpursTalk to share the experience. :) :toast

Thankful the Spurs FO isn't nearly as reactive/overactive as members of this forum (myself included).

Keep it up fellas!

Thankful the Spurs FO and players were given several opportunities and have thus far made the most of them...think #1 pick for Duncan, to Parker/Ginobili, to Duncan leaving $10M+ on the table for something big in 2010.

They really do make it easy to root for all of them.

-The Spurs keeping an eye on Roger Mason Jr. last year.
-Decent playing time for Matt Bonner.
-Everyone who helped keep the Spurs in San Antonio over the years.

I'm thankful that Houston picked Batum in front of us. If they hadn't, SA would have, and we'd be fucked now watching Vaughn play 35 minutes.

Im thankful the Olympics are not for another 4 years. But mostly Im thankful for being able to have more then 100 playbabies on ignore so that its makes this site the most fun spurs site out there by far. Im thankful the Cowboys are ahead at halftime. And In thankful Mark is still the Mavs coach. But most of all Im thankful to be a christian. Jesus's warrior.

Yeah, even if Batum is better than Hill, the drop off from Hill to Vaughn is much bigger than the drop off from Batum to Bowen and Udoka. Thank you Houston and Portland :toast

I'm thankful for the Spurs and the way they run their operation. It's not perfect..by any means.

But, the last ten years (during the Golden Age of the Franchise) there hasn't been any scandals (off the court) and malcontents (on the court) i.e. Stephen Marbury, and a superstar who has developed a special bond with the head coach and has set the tone for every other player to follow.

While, they have been mistakes in letting go of players or drafting wrong players....I'm thankful for the FO for finding the right pieces to fit around TD and getting 3 championships in the last 6 years. Also, having the highest winning percentage of all sports teams in the last 10 years. A great return on that investment.

As you see...there is a lot to be thankful for as a Spurs fan and I hope, even double hope that spoiled Spurs fans are thankful as well.
