View Full Version : Another Vaughn trade proposal
Don`t kill me if it was, but if this works I think SA will be much stronger
Vaughn + Udoka + Thomas == Nocioni
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2456~83~866~874&teams=24~4~4~4&te=&cash=
I placed there Bowen, because Thomas will be available after 15 december.
Nocioni`s minutes has dropped to 22. I think Chicago will not make problem for trading him. I think he will be happy for this. Unfortunately he will be under contract in 2010 so it could ruin our 2010 plan.
Of course we can send there Oberto. There still will be Argentinian pal for Manu Gino.
What are Yours opinion about it.

I wonder if there is any team that would want Vaughn + Thomas (who earns like 4mill a year) and willing to give up a 12ppg+ player
Thomas is of more value to this team than Nocioni.

A 12ppg player making north of $8M, I might add. It amazes me that posters here bitch about our overpaid players, but seem perfectly content to go out and get other team's.

So you prefer the opposite?
Trade away all Argies (http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=272~2805~874~183~851~3243&teams=27~27~27~24~24~24&te=&cash=) :stirpot:

If you make a trade that includes Kurt Thomas, Ime Udoka and Jacque Vaughn, I wouldn't consider that a "Vaughn trade".
And yeah, Nocioni's body is breaking down and he's turned into a ball hog. He's not worth his contract anymore.
And just think, I've been hoping the Spurs would swing a Vaughn for Marcin Gortat deal...

No! I like who we have now. We just don't have to have them all if they don't fit.

I don't mean going after nocinoi at all..
I am just saying how posters here expect us to trade JV and Thomas and expect to get a decent player in return

More importantly, why would we want theirs?

to add to that
We don't want him because his contract will go over 2010 which would ruin our plan.

Risk losing Bosh or Dirk in 2010 to get Nocioni now? I'm gonna vote no.

He's under contract until 2012 for about 7mil, so not going to happen. Try doing some research next time.

#1 Noc isn't a guard at any time, and I'd be willing to be the farm that Pop would have Noc alongside Tim quite often with his maniacle rebounding and hustle in the paint.

too expensive

Same money are paid to Vaughn , Thomas and Udoka.
I know about this 2010, but singing Bosh then, we will lose Gino and Mason. I think with Nocioni we could win 5th now. Without him it is also possible, but it would be more difficult

He is a good player. But why would we want our whole team to play in every world championship, every euro championship? Our team would never be healthy to play for the NBA championship. It was Nocioni who edged Manu into playing this past Olympics even after the doctors had told the both of them to sit out. No thankyou. Keep the Argentine in chicago. And let Jacque rot on the bench till hes ready to wear a suit.
