Jeff McDonald:Talkin' 'bout practice (http://blogs.mysanantonio.com/weblogs/courtside/archives/2008/12/jeff_mcdonaldta.html)
Allen Iverson's name did not specifically come up during a media-driven discussion of practice habits with Bruce Bowen this afternoon.
But with Iverson's Pistons in town Tuesday, and with Iverson's aversion to anything that's not a game well-documented (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frsId3goYYE), the implication was clear when E-N NBA writer Mike Monroe posed this question to Bowen: Have you ever missed a mandatory workout, simply because you didn't feel like practicing?
Most recently, Iverson skipped a Thanksgiving Day workout with the Pistons. Hey, the pilgrims didn't practice on Thanksgiving, so why should A.I.?
Bowen's answer to Monroe's question was a treatise on practice and professionalism.
"No," Bowen said. "That's unacceptable. It wouldn't sit well with me, knowing practice is at 11, and I just don't show up. That's just human nature with me."

I can never see the entire video when they post these. It cuts off after Manu says that Ime contributes.
What did I miss? Does anyone else have that problem?

this is why Bowen is still useful.
