I'll start my first game thread. It will be interesting to see how the Lakers respond after playing giveaway last night. Plus, it's a back-to-back. Local LA station KCAL channel 9 ran a poll among the viewers about which game would be the toughest for LA on the 3 game road trip, this game was about 55%, Pacers 30% and Wizards 15%.

I think the loss last night will help us a lot. So will the next loss. Good luck to the Sixers and their fans.

With digitial technology what it is today, Phil Jackson should superimpose Celtic uniforms over those worn by our opponents and make the Laker team watch their defensive lapses over and over again. Pry their eyes open as in Clockwork Orange and faces strapped to look forward only!

What giveaway? An NBA game runs 48 full minutes. By the time the full 48 minutes ran out, Indiana had more points. That means they won. There were no giveaways. If you don't score more than your opponent, you don't win. Simple as that.

Indiana was expected to win that game. L.A. is not the same on the road. Again, Indiana was just taking care of business.

did you see all those turnovers in succession the lakers made in the 4th quarter to let the Pacers back in?

Turnover=Giveaway. My post stands.

Still not happy about tonight's win. They're still not playing any defense. When I saw the halftime scores for games around the NBA, most of them were in the 51-38 range, while the Lakers gave away 51. And ended up giving 100+ pts yet again.

At one point in the 4th, I thought it was going to be deja vu when the 76ers went on that scoring run. Way too many layups and points in the paint for them, and it was way too easy. How can you allow the smallest guy to have score 20+ of his 26 pts in the paint?

Bynum only has 3 rebounds. That's horrible for a 7 ft guy who can easily avg 10+ with his length. On the plus side, Lakers shot a better FT %, which is what kept the game in double digits and out of reach any time 76ers made a run.

Well, we are 15 and 2 and the rest of the west is chasing us. We'll figure out the defensive adjustments in time, season is early.

Wow, Rondo was unstoppable tonight. He had a triple double of 15 pts, 13 rebs, 17 assts. I hope the next time Lakers play the Pacers, they will destroy them just like the C's did tonight.
