It's so good the Great Society programs of LBJ have ended poverty in our time, as he promised they would.

Three HUZZAH'S! for the 36th president!

Now lets start some more programs so we can end poverty EVEN more!

I worked the numbers a couple of months ago and discovered we're actually eligible for food stamps and TANF. I found it incredible that somebody can have a 14-year military career and still be so badly paid. :wow

They have no problem taking large portions of our hard earned money to distrubute in the form of bailouts to those that have shot themselves in the foot with their idiotic business practices.

Guess what? Its my fucking food from my god damn money and I have no problem taking it back.

Oh, Gee!!

It's so good the fiscal austerity programs of Andrew Jackson have ended national debt in our time, as he promised they would.

Three HUZZAH'S! for the 7th president!

Now lets start some more programs so we can end debt EVEN more!

I remember waaaaay back when I used to be a cashier at HEB....

that was when food stamps used to be the monopoly money instead of the debit card so when there was any change left, we would give them back the appropriate quarters, dimes, nickels or pennies....

so what some of these bums would was take their 'ones' and buy nickel candy and get 95cents back. Then they would go through another line and do the same thing.

It wasn't long before your tax money just paid for several bottles of Thunderbird or Old English 800.

good times......

here's the really screwed up part...ANYONE can get food stamps!

we remodeled a food stamp office recently over a long period of time and noticed an influx of people on certain days...the staff told us that if someone applies for food stamps on or around a holiday, they have to give them at least emergency amount of food stamps until their information is verified...

every three day weekend or major holiday, there was a line out the door and around the building...fuckin' crazy! even during fiesta...WTF?

Yawn...

Wake me up when it a record percentage of legal residence on food stamps.

The population grows every year. Therefore, at the same percentage, the number naturally increase. Does it break the last record number as a percenatge?

I get tired of the media using the "Record Number" term. My God. Every year, with everything else equal is a new record number. Yet liberals eat up tyhe bad news.

Granted, our economy is in a decline, but please keep it real.

Yep. Too many people qualify. That's part of the problem. They suck you in to socialism to secure future votes.

He has.

He acts like a five year old.

I have a hard time believing Oh Gee’s childish obsession with me.

In a thread some time back, I mentioned my mother used food stamps after my parents were divorced. She, however, used them like they were suppose to be used. As needed. She got a job, later earned more money, and got off them.
