SAN ANTONIO - A 54-year-old woman accused of ripping off homeowners was arrested by the FBI Thursday and taken to federal court. Rosario Divins was indicted on four counts of criminal contempt and four counts of mail fraud.

Divins was the focus of a News 4 Trouble Shooters investigation in November. Several homeowners told News 4 Trouble Shooter Brian Collister that Divins took their money, but did not help them keep their homes. Some of those homeowners wound up losing their homes.

Homeowner Issac Vela claims he paid Divins more than $6,000 to help him keep his home. He and his wife lost their home in a foreclosure. After hearing of Divins' arrest, he said, "At least now she won't do it to no one else."

After leaving federal court, Divins told the News 4 Trouble Shooters, "This is what you call a false statement, false accusations and this is what you call how the law system works. The law is the crookedest one is this (expletive) world."

The judge released Divins on a $50,000 bond and set her arraignment for December 15th.
