Either that, or I'm the reincarnation of Nostradamus. I haven't figured out which it is at this point.

My mom was cleaning out some files when she came across a paper I wrote in 4th grade in which our class was supposed to write about inventions, ideas, etc., for making the world a better place. In it, I say that someday there will be machines in our homes, and using them we can ask any question and get the answer, and because of these machines we won't have to use encyclopedias, or go to the library to look information up anymore.

So, basically I'm going on record to say that Al Gore is a liar and a thief. He must have stolen my 4th grade assignment when he took credit for my glorious idea.

BTW, you don't have to thank me for inventing the internet or the concept on home computers. All in a typical day's work for me.

I'm sorry, but since you were in the 4th grade in 1995, you probably heard about it on TV after Saved By the Bell

It was actually 1977, and I'd probably give partial credit to Star Trek. But I've made it all the way to 5th grade since then which is pretty cool.

I was about that age when I saw Star Trek the Motion Picture.

I didn't understand any of it and was weirded out by the chick that had the shaved head.

Now that the real inventor is brought to light the abundance of pornography on this thing makes a lot more sense.

The internet is about porn not questions. You invented nothing.

Whatever with you man...whatever!!

But anyway, back on topic...I also understand that this internet of mine is a good place to post pictures that you, or others have taken, and the great thing is you can claim anything you post as your own work. So it's got that going for it too, which is pretty cool. :tu

The internet is not only about porn. It's also about selling viagra and degrees from accredited universities based on your life experience.

I remember mouse asking Chris Duel back in 1997 if he wanted to make an online talent show where people can upload themselves and others can vote on them and he never got back to him. Now we have YouTube.

he even asked him if WOAI could have a forum where others can post stuff about themselves and you could sign on as their friend. The man was light years ahead of MySpace. True story! :tu
