Yep. And no way he gets paroled at his first hearing. He'll be out in 8-10...if he lives that long.

Did someone get stabbed? I see many cases where a person stabs another person and the judge gives them 10 years.

Hell you can rob a federal bank and only get 5 years. The man who was the mastermind in the ENRON scam only received 10 years.

If some other ex football player like Troy Aikman went after someone who was selling his shit and with the heat of the moment used a gun and lost it like OJ did? People around here will be asking for probation. He may even get two years. And people will say even that was to much.

People hate OJ they want to see him do 20 years for J walking.

That's what i was told...............

He'll do 8-10 due to consecutive sentences on a couple of counts. He'll either die in prison or be an old man when he gets out.

how the fuck do you get 33 years for going into a hotel room with a gun?????

this is obviously payback. but the asshole judge said "this has nothing to do with the murder trial" yeah right. Bullshit.

Exactly! Someone else would had gotten probation for that same charge. Especially someone of noteworthiness. He never stood a chance in this trial to walk.

I can't see how that kidnapping charge holds up on appeal, that would make set precedent to make every armed robbery kidnapping.

Nevada state law:

A person who willfully seizes, confines, inveigles, entices, decoys, abducts, conceals, kidnaps or carries away a person by any means whatsoever with the intent to hold or detain, or who holds or detains, the person for ransom, or reward, or for the purpose of committing sexual assault, extortion or robbery upon or from the person, or for the purpose of killing the person or inflicting substantial bodily harm upon him, or to exact from relatives, friends, or any other person any money or valuable thing for the return or disposition of the kidnaped person, and a person who leads, takes, entices, or carries away or detains any minor with the intent to keep, imprison, or confine him from his parents, guardians, or any other person having lawful custody of the minor, or with the intent to hold the minor to unlawful service, or perpetrate upon the person of the minor any unlawful act is guilty of kidnaping in the first degree which is a category A felony.

so why hasn't every armed robbery in NV come with a kidnapping charge attached.

The act was caught on tape. It was an open and shut case. That's why he's getting nailed so bad. I personally think he was set up, but oh well. He's still a murdering bastard and deserves to die in prison.

For all those defending OJ saying he was a target because of his past legal problems, perhaps his fucking dumbass should have thought about that before charging into a hotel with a gun.

You have to be a pretty big moron when you where once at the center of one of the most debated murder cases in history then decide to pull some shit like this. For that fact alone he needs to be put away just to protect himself from his own fucking stupidity.

Apparently Michael Jackson was in the courtroom and when he saw OJ sobbing told him not to worry and that he would take care of his kids.

I wasn't whining about the dumb bastard. I was just stating what the judge said that the past had nothing to do with her ruling was bs. If it didn't, why did she bother to bring it up.

It's called "kidnapping". And can get u life.

Wonder why you would cheer for a guy to get a lighter sentence, when everyone in the whole fucking world knows he got away with murder.

But you're right, the justice system is fucked up. He should already have been doing life, if not sitting on death row. The justice system really screwed the pooch on that one.
