What happened? I thought you wanted to see if you were at that next level? I guess not. No lucky shots tonight.

Still a team on the rise I think given the state of the Mavs and Suns they will still make the playoffs in the West.

Greg Oden is a soft bitch, Garnett blocked his shot and got in his face and Oden ignores him and whinges to the ref.
Why is the entire Blazer team apart from Roy shit scared of Kevin Garnett.
Greg Oden ...wha?!?!!
looks like the blazers missed the Jordan of the draft once more...

And drafted what feels an all too familiar player...

They need Bonner
Plus a young team @ Boston against the champs is to be expected

Spurs should sign Anthony Peeler
The Blazers just lost to a team they were supposed to lose, no surprises here.

Yeah but you would not know it by all the talking the Blazers did prior to the game. Then they come in a lay a goose egg after the 1st period.

Hey dawg keep your spirits up. I know people give you a hard time for you believing in your team, but im perfectly fine with it. It's nice to see Oden healthy. Keep up the optimism and stay excited about your ball club. If anyone is trying to make you feel otherwise, dont listen to them. Your team is making dramatic strides from last year. :toast

Once the Blazers get more exp. they 'll be fine. Imagine a Oden, LA, Batum frontline with Rudy and roy in the backcourt in their primes, scarey.
I know people give you a hard time for you believing in your team...
People don't give him a hard time because of that. They give him a hard time cause he can be a nuisance. :lol

The only problem with Aldridge is that i dont see him being anything more than a 16-18PPG and 7-8 RPG guy, and not much else. He has that outside shot and little hook shot in the lane, but he shies away from contact and hasnt got any real post moves.
Thats still pretty damn good, but probly not enough as a second option on a contending team.
Brandon Roy is an absolute stud, but outside of he and a slightly over rated second option in Aldridge, theres alot of uncertainty. Can Oden become that dominant low post guy that hes been touted as? How will Batum develop?
Outlaw is a decent piece, nothin special really, Fernandez looks good as an instant offense guy off the bench.
Im not sold on Portland yet. You cant just assume each and every player is going to get better in the system so the team will get better. I dont think theyre a contender this year.

Batum will be a very good NBA player.

Who the hell are you? Don't come in here with that rational, reasonable, understandable thinking. We want defiant, irrational absurdity like you're supposed to give us.
"The Blazers want the Celtics."
"Blazers want payback."
"Are the Blazers elite?"
"Blazers played the fewest home games."
Come on, tlongII. We are not entertained by this rational comment.

That was a tough loss last night. It's surprising to me to see just how much better Boston and LA are than everybody else at this point in the season. The thing to remember is that they are better today. That doesn't mean they'll be better at the end of the season.

What you guys need won't be gained by then.
To your credit you have great chemistry and the talent. Just another year or 2 is all you need. Patience young padwan
