View Full Version : Golden State vs Rockets
It seemed that for 3 straight qrtrs the rockets and the warriors could take no lead, an eye for an eye the whole game.
Then an impressive but stupid rookie, Randolf dunks on Yao and awakens the beast by taunting him. What he didn't know was that Yao would score 20 of houston's 43 points in the 4th qrtr to silence this warriors team 131-112
Yao-Artest combined for 62 points

Awesome game by Yao.He's making the adjustments in his post moves to get through the double teams or by kicking out to shooters. That's the way Dream used to do it.:downspin:

Wow how bad are you on defense that you give up 131 points in regulation to a McGradyless Rockets team. Yes I know the irony of my post.

Yao should get 50 and 30 against the Warriors playing against those toothpicks in Wright and Randolph

Warriors are the worst defensive team of all-time and they dont have a single ball distributor...all of their players are one on one guys who only look to shoot the ball. Too many chuckers not enough passers. It will get even worse went Ellis returns

biedrins is a great center
he is a good off the ball shot blocker but other than that his D is just as bad as everyone elses

what amazes me how dead eye shooters they are.
The whole game just draining jumpers like no other.
Stephen Jackson only missed like 3 shots for 30 points :wow

getting dunked on is not a bad thing. it means that the player is actually trying to block the shot. there are some big men in this league who would rather give up a layup to the opponent than risking themselves from getting dunked on.
one great example is shawn Bradley. sure he got dunked on alot, but people forget he actually led the league in block shots in one of his seasons.

Yao got dunked on again?
:rolleyes Every center that plays under the basket gets dunked on, even your hero Duncan. Big men that don't ever get dunked on, don't play a lick of defense.

Hell I remember when Kevin Johnson served up the Dream.......people who defend the post get dunked on, it's not that shocking.

That is after both Turiaf and Biedrins fouled out.

The Rockets scored 30 points in the last seven minutes of the game. No Nellie, no Jack, no centers to defend Yao. That was a dismantling.
