Hadn't seen this one before. Gives you a feel of what it was like to actually be in the stands at the game.
Listen to the collective gasp as everyone realizes Duncan's about to shoot the three.

Yeah, I'll never forget the gasp and then the intensity of the shouting after the ball went in. I got goosebumps just thinking about it. :tu

that is like the defining memory of my basketball lifetime.
My reaction was a progression from "No way??!?!?" to "NO WAY!!!!!!!"
I watch that shot everyday, its just so....perfect.
Then you add in Tim's interview giggle afterward. He knew. He knew.

Thanks ShoogarBear! Duncan has given me lots of jaw-dropping moments, but that 3 will always stay in my top 5. Everything about it was incredible; from the need to tie it to stay in the game, to Manu's great pass to get it to him, to how open he was, and that he even had time to wipe his hands on his shorts as he set up. The fact that the 3 is not a shot we expect him to take, never mind make, is such fun. It showed us, once again, how clutch he is. Whenever we've needed a miracle he's been pretty good at coming through for us.
I think I made as much noise in my living room as the crowd did. :lol

I'm glad I stayed up and watched this one live in the middle of the night. :D
My reaction was...wtf???....and a second later......WTF?!?!?!?!
After all this time I still get goosebumps

I worked at JCP when this game was on. Our manager let my team extend our lunch to see the first overtime, but not the second.:bang

Greatest playoff game I've ever been to, greatest game in sports I've been to. That game was amazing. I had a friend who was with his Dad at that game and his Dad was so shocked by the three he spilled his drink on the guy in front of him, and then (jokingly) blamed it on my friend.
Yeah if it werent for game 7 in 2005 I would say the same thing. This game was probably more exciting but the fact that we won the title in game 7 makes it better for me. Barely. I dont think I've acted more insane at any other sporting event in the my life. I remember commenting after Duncan hit that shot that this was like a religious experience. :lol

Who is anyone fooling? The greatest Spurs game was the Derek Fisher shot that shouldn't have counted. It was painful, but it was the best game.

For greatest NBA game, nominate it all you want, but you're nominating a game the Spurs lost as the greatest Spurs game!?
Thank you for your participation, please turn in your Spurs fan card on your way out the door. :lol

In my mind, the Spurs won that game. There are numerous pictures proving that the clock started late.
