my personal worsts that get air time are:

#1 "Sir I wanna buy these shoes.....for my momma, please because she's gonna go see Jesus soon...." :depressed

#2 "We drank a toast to innocence......yada yada....." something about drinking in a car with an old high school flame that's now married to some shmuck she doesnt love

#3 the David Bowie/Bing Crosby "Little Drummer Boy" song......I don't mind the song so much, except I just can't help but think that Bing really didn't sign off on this idea and the Nazi loving David Bowie singing about peace on Earth just doesnt sit right with me.

A million monkeys with typewriters typing into eternity would never be able to write anything shittier than Christmas Shoes.

I am usually a sap for sentimental songs but I just can not get choked up about Christmas shoes. I do not seem to be able to get past the faulty logic- how is this kid alone in a shoe store- a kid too young to know how to count money? And then we find out the kid's mom is dying, quite possibly that night, and I can not help but wonder-- what is this kid doing in a shoe store while mom dies?

:rollin:rollin:rollin I just punched this kid, and kissed his mom. Oddly, I was able to control my gag reflex.
