My wife and I have two free tickets to anywhere in the US with Southwest Airlines. We decided it was narrowed down to New York, San Francisco or Las Vegas. We decided on Las Vegas because of it being specifically for fun and vacations. What does everyone here think?
I guess one thing to note is we have to consider the cost of taxi cabs, hotels...food, etc.
vegas if you want to be able to bend over or be somewhat safe at night

You def made the right choice. Vegas is easily the most fun city in this nation to visit. Shows, gambling, great food, and it never closes.

I'd get away from all people, and enjoy some nice scenery.

San Fran>NY=Hell>Las Vegas.
Once a year I drive down to San Diego and I usually stop in Vegas for a night on the way down. Invariably this ends up being the worst night of my year, in any given year. That place is so Babylonian I just wanna puke as soon as I get close enough on I-15 to see that smoky shit cloud that hangs over the city.

It depends on when you can travel and what places SW flies to. Vegas is nice in the early spring, but if you're going in the summer I would recommend the northwest.

Vegas...
With free air fair I wouldn't go to Vegas. You can get a Vegas package on the cheap if you go at the right time of the year.
What are you into? I'd go somewhere were there's shit you can look at besides blinking lights.

Vegas to me can get a tad old after day 3. But it's still the best option.

When are you planning your vacation? weather will play a factor on where you should go. Personally I liked SF, there was alot to do and see. As mentioned above Vegas packages are easy to come by. Also there are alot of things within driving distance outside of SF.

New York would be higher than San Francisco on my list, but only because it takes less than a tank of gas for me to get to San Francisco. I love both cities equally.
Vegas would be way, way, way, WAY down on my list. I've been going since I was a kid and am thoroughly over it.
