I haen't seen the Spurs actually play in awhile, don't have league Pass etc.

My concern at the beginning of the season was rebounding and the way they were playing overall, from what I saw. Now that the guys are healthy and getting in game shape, what is the biggest problem you've noticed with them?

This weakness is something that will bite in the playoffs, what are you assessments? Is rebounding still going to be a problem? Is Matt Bonner starting going to bite a deep run?

Sorry to hear that you're on Spurs TV watching hiatus. I trust it wont be a permanent situation.

IMO, the problem is still rebounding. As I've said before, unless Duncan gets double-digit rebounding, this team will find it very difficult being competitive in that area. Hence, they're giving up too many second-chance opportunities and must find other ways to win.

However, last night gave some hope. Despite a double-overtime game and the numbers being a bit skewed, Duncan finished the game with 14 rebounds. However, the good news is that Tim got some much-needed help from Manu (6), Finley (5) and TP (5). This is a good news because at one point, the Spurs were down 38-26 in total rebounds.

While, they eventually lost the rebounding battle 48-42, they did very well to close the overall gap. This is the type of ongoing team rebounding effort that will be needed to shore up that deficiency. I'm hoping that whenever Ian come back, assuming he ever does, that he will provide additional help in that area too. Unless, of course, he continues to have the feet of a china doll.
