Early on, Mason.

Now, Bonner.

backcourt has a few guys they can rely on. front court is thin. any significant and consistent contribution from any of the spurs' front court guys outside of TD gets my vote.

Do you think Bowen as a franchies player? Or you think he is not an important role player. this poll is meaningless just bcs Bowen is excluded.
Bowen is the most important role player for the spurs for sure, for the sake of the D. Is mason or finley taking care of Jason when we face the suns? but Bowen is gonna do this perfectly. Bowen is gonna make Jason look like a baby sucking in infancy.

I voted for Mason, but i also wanted to vote Bonner. if it werent for Bonner, we'd be getting killed at the frontcourt.

Mason has also given us a bench.

just an oversight on my part. bowen is definitely very important role player for the team.

Mason will be crucial during the horrid scoring droughts.

I still want to see Bonner against L.A., Boston. I do not believe he will keep this up the entire season but he is ridiculously good the last 2 weeks.

I chose Hill. If Matt isnt playing well theres always Fab and Kurt who come in and play. But if TP isnt playing good, at least now we can have Hill come in and play defense. Thats one thing we havnt had in years. We've had that point come in and play offense. But never come in and play defense. To me at the end of a game, Hill is more important than Matt or Mason.

voted Finley... he still is right up there in crunch time on every game.. his has always scored key baskets when called upon to do it..

Like the way you said right now. Im not a Matt fan. Was ,when we first brought him in. Still am when he was coming off the bench. And right now its not hard to be a Matt fan. Look who else is on the roster Behind him. Fab and Kurt. Its not hard to be good when guys like Fab and Kurt are fighting you for minutes. Ill say this. Ive never disliked Matt. Hes as good as you want from a bench player. He's starting because the rest of the bigs just plain suck. And Matt is doing a fine job of starting. Keeping Fab and Kurt on the bench shouldnt be hard to do. But helping your team win is something Matt is catching on to. And I like.........

Had to go with Mason.

Without Mason, we don't have any offense through the start of the season when Fin and Bonner are still struggling, and we don't do nearly as well through that injured stretch.

Spurs could really be in a hole without this guy on the court, and as much as I love Bonner's play as of late, he's only recently started to contribute. However, just being able to provide another capable big man on the court puts him in a very close second.

Seconded. I never thought I'd be saying this, but Finley has played great this year.

Mason is a good player and I am really happy that we have him, but I feel like he may be a streaky player. Seems like Bonner is coming into the light at and he knows his role. It may take awhile for Pop to work on Mason before we see anything role worthy.

I think it will come down to George Hill or Mason. I like mason because he can play 1,2, and 3. Yet our main problem for years has been a back up for Tony. jaquce was alright, but the opposing D could take advantage of his poor shooting ability and double Tim without worrying to get back quick when he passed back out.

As of now it is mason for me. Come late in the season or maybe next year it will be George.

...thought about that. true statement.
