To cheer for the top 9 seeds in the West or the lower teams?

The West is slowly getting down to 9 teams, is it better to cheer for them to keep beating the lower west teams? It helps ensure that your team has a greater chance to get into the playoffs.

or do you cheer against the top teams just so the top 9 spread out a bit?
