The Spurs are currently on a five game winning streak, the current most active in the West. The second best current winning streak actually belongs to one of our Southwest division teams. Nope, not the Rockets, not the Hornets, and not the Mavericks. However, it is the struggling Memphis Grizzlies. They have a winning streak of 3 after their Matchup with the Bulls.

What do you guys think of the Grizzlies' future. They have a nice core to build around with. From Rudy Gay, O.J Mayo, to Marc Gasol and Hakim Warrick, do you see them contending for a playoff spot or perhaps even the Championship within the next three years? Discuss.

Posted here, because the Grizzlies may be a threat in the Southwest division in the future.

It'll be 6 by Sunday. :toast

The Grizz dont have a future with or without Mayo or Gay.

First off, they need more then what those two can do to even make a PO appearance. IMO unless something drastically changes on that franchise I dont see that team being consider a championship team...ever.

The Grizzlies will be in the lottery anyway, if they are lucky, they might get a top 5 pick.

LA is nowhere near out of hot water even in the WC.
