Lebron is not doing anything he hasnt doen in the last few years.

LeBron is not doing anything he hasnt done before? :lmao as that as an excuse. I dont think its porrible for a human to do much more than he has done. If you look closely though, his numbers have actually gone up, and he is more efficient per 40 minutes. Hes hardly played in any 4th quarters this season.

07-08 -- 29.7 PPG 7.8 RPG 7.1 APG on .484% with a PER of 29.15
08-09 -- 30.6 PPG 7.7 RPG 7.2 APG on .489% with a PER of 32.63

Do you also think Kobe shouldnt win MVP because hes doing less than hes done before. The arrival of Pau Gasol is was turned the Lakers from a lottery team to a contender.

If Cavs are within 5 games of the Lakers, LeBron will win MVP. Kobe's supporting cast is still 10x better than LeBrons.

LeBron is head and shoulders above everyone else in the league right now.

LeBron isn't doing anything spectacular. He's just making shots. And it's in the Leastern Conference.

The Leastern Conference is not that bad this season

As long as LeBron continues to play at this level and the Cavs finish in the top 2 in the East, there's no way he shouldn't win the MVP this season. I don't think it's too early in the season to say that with those conditions. But, if the Cavs slip to even third in the East behind another team like Orlando or Atlanta or Detroit, I think he'll lose some favor from "some" voters and there's a chance another player will have a chance, not necessarily Kobe. I'm thinking D12 or CP3 will find their ways into the conversation.

Key words being "right now". And yes, right now it's him hands down. I think there should be an unwritten rule that you can't talk MVP at the very least until after the all star break.

Too early to be talking MVP awards. Lebron is not doing anything he hasnt doen in the last few years. His teammates are stepping up. Mo Williams helps that team a lot. You can never have too many guards that can create. Memo to Lakers!!!

His team-mates are stepping up, but *gasp* they actually have some plays to run on offense now.

He's well on his way to getting screwed out of his third MVP this year.

You're right. Pau is playing a lot better than any of the lakers right now. Kobe is jacking up too many shots and Pau is cleaning up the slack for him.

I don't know if it's me or not, but he is the reason why Lakers are off to a 19-3 start.

And actually Bynum is no longer as valuable as he was last season. His last season stats were padded due to the lack of the Lakers offense.

He's playing out of his mind right now, no doubt. I can't think of anyone who would deserve it over LeBron.

He's committed to playing defense night-in and night-out. That's a big change from the last few years, when he played defense when he wanted to. He's been spectacular on that end of the floor, too.

Funny, he didn't win the MVP is the past due to his teammates not "stepping up."

The MVP has lost a lot of its value in the past few years, but he should win it regardless.

You have to put Kobe,Boston's Big 3 and if the Heat's record is vastly improved in April and make the playoffs you also have to put Wade in there.
