I feel like everyone is beginning to love this guy...

Is this true?

Scale how much you really like him.

The beginning happened a long time ago: when he was signed.

I feel the love.

He went from a scrub (or at least I think so) to superstar.

I thought he played some great games with lots of promise last year. Pop never said why he put the Red Rocket in the Dog House.

Really wish we could read Pop's thoughts.

I agree..Bonner made some good plays for us in the playoffs when we needed him. I began to like him and Udoka towards the end of the season into the playoffs last year. Hopefully both with continue to do the same this year. I expect it more from Bonner though.

It's hard to dislike a guy who es excelling on the team you root for. Call it bandwagoning if you want. It's just natural.

Why not like Matt? Ill tell why. Because if the POs started tomorrow, Matt would live on the bench. Thats where he's headed. If the Spurs are serious about making this year a Championship year then they will have some kind of trade in mind. Noway is Matt start and play Center for this ball club and take them all the way. As soon as Gasol and Bynum take him to school, it may take a few games to get his confidence back. And in a 7 game series Matt will be forgotten quite quickly.

Bonner probably outweighs Gasol, and by playing on the perimeter the red Rocket will bring his defender (probably gasol if Bynum is on Tim) to the perimeter. He will help us against LA if he can nail some wide open shots.

I don't know man. That was my initial thought too, however Bonner has good footspeed, stays in front of his man, switches pretty quickly now, has improved his court vision, and does not foul anywhere close to as much.

Stay in front of them and make them shoot J's? I'll take that.

:lol

gasol is good; he is going to get his points.
if bonner can get score half of what gasol scores, and keep him from doubling duncan, then he more than did his job.
