I still think Horry when healthy can still bring it. He said last year he was injured and out of shape. This year, he said he's ready. So some team out there could use him. especially a playoff bound team in need of Veteran experience. Hornets would be a good place for him or the Blazers.

Dial 411, and ask "who cares?"
Seriously though, the last thing I read on him was he was training out in San Diego. Of course, he did mention the possibility of keeping himself available for a possible late-season signing. He indicated that he was doing a lot of pool work (with the gray-haired women, as he put it) and shooting every 3 days or so to stay loose. Of course, I would argue that if he were really serious, he'd be shooting everyday, but that's another story.
He did admit that once the holidays come and go, that he expected to put on a few pounds and that signing somewhere would probably be unlikely.
I wouldn't rule out him signing with another team (Boston or New Orleans) provided the interest is mutual.

I actually think he can help the Spurs in the 2nd half season. I know the Spurs have decided to go in a different direction...but last week I heard R.C Buford on the radio talking about Robert in a positive light.
Who knows there may be a possiblity he could return to the team?

Uh, no thanks. Robert is and should forever be discussed in a positive light for his contributions. However, the Spurs have moved in a different direction and so has he. It's best that they both stay the course they're on.

Don't bother, he is ineffective as a player anymore. Heck, he chunked up threes and missed every one of them in the last playoffs, espiacially against the Lakers. With that said, he has contributed a lot to the Spurs and wish him a happy retirement.
On another note, George Hill isn't on the 2k9 Spurs on pc, but Robert Horry is in it. Robert is a bench warmer, does not play in garbage time but Vaughn plays in garbage time.

Probably so!!!
But I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs look at him for the second half of the season.

Could it be an elaborate set up from the Spurs and Horry that he signs later in the season?
Maybe Pop wants the young guys to get their confidence up and then bring him back? ;).
